Cynthia has immersed herself in academia, travel and athletics over the last 8 years. She has a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor or Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Houston. She worked with the Office of Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam on the Venice Biennale Exhibition titled “Elements”. Her focus for research was primarily the floor and ramp. Over the past three summers, she has taught a design build studio at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology called UrbanFrame. She currently teaches a studio and research seminar at the University of Houston. Her academic and professional work can be seen here .
The “Get It” series emerged from a series of playful conversations with friends. Intended to be both playful and inherently suggestive, the message seeks to empower and joke.The art work is always composed of minimal lines and authenticity of material.
